We’ve tried it and it’s truly amazing.
This wonderful secret terrace located between the historic buildings in the center of Padua, overlooking the Duomo and the secret gardens of a small and ancient sacred forest.
The intimacy and lovely views of this beautiful terrace will surprise you. If you are looking to organize a romantic aperitif ("aperitivo", as the locals call it) with a view over the city of Padua while you sip a refreshing glass of prosecco or aperol spritz (that’s right, the spritz drink as you know it originates from Padova) this is the right place to live a private and exclusive moment.
In the event of bad weather, no worries: the experience will be hosted inside the warm and spacious living room which is also equipped with a unique view overlooking the city center.
It is not a very big city, yet Padua has some unique gems that will surely amaze you.
Let's start with the famous Scrovegni Chapel, which contains splendid frescoes by Giotto dating back to the beginning of the fourteenth century. Moving towards the huge square of Prato della Valle, next to it we find the equally impressive Basilicas of Santa Giustina, Sant Antonio and the recently renovated botanical garden of Padua, containing a collection of over 6,000 plants.
The University of Padua, one of the oldest in the world (and second in Italy, after that of Bologna) hosts prestigious faculties, including medicine and law. You cannot miss a visit to the most famous squares of Padua: Piazza dei Signori, Piazza della Frutta and Piazza delle Erbe, as well as the historic Caffè Pedrocchi.
