How to earn money on Viewnary: tips to get started

Do you have a balcony, terrace, rooftop or indoor space with amazing views? Becoming a Host is free 

First things first: registering as a Host and listing your space is completely free of charge. We guarantee that there are no hidden fees – we cherish our amazing Host community and are transparent with our payment process. We take a flat percentage “Viewnary fee” from every booking you receive, and that’s it. No additional cleaning fees and other nasty surprises that other hosting platforms give you. The Viewnary fee allows us to continually improve the platform, boost customer support and enhance your entire experience.

What price should you charge your Guests? 

What price you set is entirely your choice: you charge and hourly price per Guest. For example, setting a price of $50 per Guest means each Guest will pay $50 per hour he/she booked. You may choose to include some extras for that price, like a welcome glass of prosecco. 

Keep in mind the costs you have, what other Hosts in your area are charging, the applicable tax rates, and the fact that Guests pay a Service fee on top of the price you set.

When do you receive your payout?

Our payments are processed via our third-party payment provider, Stripe. You will receive your payout within 7 days after the termination of a Viewing.

We may withhold a payout for longer than 7 days if: 

• A Viewing has been canceled by you or has not been carried out for any other reason that lies within your control; 

• A payment from a Guest has potentially originated from a fraudulent payment method, for which the payout may be withheld for up to 90 days after the termination of a Viewing.
